My new Mickey mouse shirt. 😊. Another Lydia (my almost 16 year old,) hand me down!! Took this pic yesterday. Today I am training clients again so why bother getting real clothes on? lol. But I just wanted to check in with my #instafam and say Hi!!! Hope you all are having a wonderful day. Don’t forget to smile. And for real...just be nice. 🤷♀️. Doesn’t take much to be a nice human. Compliment someone. Let someone skip ahead of you in the grocery store line when they only have one or two things to purchase. Give your spouse or significant other a big hug. Get a coffee for a co worker. Let the kid have a special snack. Take the dog for a walk. Empty the dishwasher. Little gestures go a long way #fitfam 🤗🤗🤗 ...
I never dreamed of success. I worked for it! .
Nothing worth having comes easy!
I got my first job a week before my 15th birthday. From that day on, I have continued to work. I worked hard to finish high school, achieve my undergrad in education, become a teacher and then return to school to earn my Masters Degree. I have given my all in each and every position I have held as a Occupational Therapist. I am dedicated to raising my son to become a responsible citizen. .
What I didn’t work on was ME! It was HARD living an unhealthy, obese life. This affected me not only physically, but mentally as well. .
I was always putting everyone and everything else before what mattered the most, ME. .
That all changed January 15, 2018.. the day I took a chance and put MYSELF first for an hour a day. By doing this day after day, I have SUCCESSFULLY lost almost 40lbs, gained a ton of energy, confidence, health and wellness.
I remember the days I used to dream of being healthy, being able to work out, being confident and feeling good. Now I am living it! How? By working hard!!!
It’s not always easy, however once I got a taste of healthy living, I don’t want to live any other way.
All you need is one hour of your 24 hour day to make your dreams reality. .
Stop watching me and join me. If you want something, you need to put in work to achieve it!!! Let’s do this together!!
Drop an emoji below or dm me if you want to chat about getting into my tribe! #Youcansitwithme ...

I had an excellent morning at the National Stadium on Saturday as a running guide for a young visually impaired athlete at the Singapore Disability Sports Council 47th annual games.
For those of you who know me, you will know that I’m built for comfort and not speed so I was very apprehensive about running the 100m. Thankfully my running buddy had trust in me. He was awesome and managed to take 5.5 seconds off his previous personal best!
I think I must have been OK as his teacher has asked me to run the 100 & 200m with him at another event at the end of April, it will be his first time attempting the 200m so I’m really keen to be there with him.
I think I surprised him that a old man who is 32 years his senior was able to keep up. 😃
