Happy first day of Spring! 🌿🐣 I am SO excited for the warmer weather and allllll the homemade ice cream, nice cream, and popsicles!! This easy Banana Chocolate Nice Cream is a classic at our house. We love it! The recipe is below!

BLEND
4 frozen bananas
1/4 cup nut milk
3-4 Tbsp cacao or cocoa powder
+ any add-ins (protein, collagen, maca, etc)

STIR IN
1/4 cup cacao nibs, chopped chocolate, or chocolate chips.

It is always exciting when you start something new but then in time an doing it over and over again might feel overwhelming and that excitement you think will never ever end wears off real quick! Don’t worry! I totally feel you!

Looking back to my old photos to get some inspiration and ideas and I see I have changed the way I prep. I used to prep all my meals from breakfast to dinner including snacks! Nowadays I love preparing buffet style preps because it gives me more options to change up my meals.

Just like my gym sessions, I often change my meals and the way I prepare food so I never get bored and keep being consistent in the long term! LIFE LONG!

Eski resimlerime hem fikir hem de motivasyon icin bakıyordum ve bu resmi bulunca suanda çok daha farklı bir sekilde yemek hazirligi yaptigimi gördüm. Önceden tüm ögünlerimi hazırlardım! Kahvaltıdan, aksam yemeğine hatta ara ögünlerime kadar! Fakat suanda büfe tarzı yemek hazirligindan çok daha fazla keyif alıyorum. Cünkü her ögün farklı kombinasyonlar yapabiliyorum.

VEGETABLE OILS⁣
Are they made from vegetables? Are they healthy? Not really.⁣
They are made from grains, beans, and seeds such as corn, soybeans, rapeseed, sunflower kernels, and cotton and safflower seeds, and are often called INDUSTRIAL SEED OILS. ⁣

In order to extract large amounts of oil from things like sunflower seeds or rapeseeds (canola)- which are not that fatty in the first place- huge amounts of heat and pressure are applied. These oils may be heated again in order to clarify, bleach and deodorize them before they're bottled. This damages their structure in a process called oxidation. Then they sit on the shelves in your supermarket, in clear plastic bottles, exposed to bright light. Then they are used on a frying pan and added to almost all processed foods.⁣

These oils are high in omega-6 linoleic acid which is pro-inflammatory (causing inflammation).⁣
Oxidized linoleic acid metabolites are implicated in causing or worsening many health problems, including chronic pain, cardiovascular disease, liver and neurodegenerative disease (your brain!).⁣

You are made of cells. Every cell has a cell membrane. The cell membrane is made of fats. For the cell to work correctly, it has to be built from healthy and undamaged fats. Types of fats consumed affects that. If the fats in the cell membrane become oxidized, it can cause damage to your DNA. Proteins in your brain may become damaged as well giving rise to for example Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Oxidation spreads to other cells causing even more damage.⁣
