Been dreading this plan due to this workout -》 6/8% Incline Intervals... Was scared to burst early or mid workout based on previous attempts to do this workout on my own and not recover on time for next interval. But a comfort zone leads you nowhere near improving.
4x 0.25 mi. warmup @ 5.4/5.6/5.8mph
10x 0.25 mi./400m @ 6.4mph (6% incline) with
Rest 0.25mi/400m @ 5.4mph (1% incline)
But then it clicked, "what if I face it as a Threshold session? After all, it's a run at 6.4mph with somewhat of an incline. All I have to do is use my @strydrunning#RunWithPower Zones and should be fine"
Couldn't gone any smoother. I trusted the metrics, was focused on staying within my 220W while on an incline and not overstepping when resting, staying withing 170W. Reading Average Power of 195W every mile that was flying by kept putting a smile on my face. Hence my workout selfie was just like @lucycharles 93 today. Happy that we nailed a tough workout!!! Best gadget that I ever bought was this #FootPod#PowerMeter . If you're not running with Power and still playing around with cadence, you're missing out on not having "your battery lasting until the end". Today was also definitely needed to bring @on_running#RunOnClouds#Apparel for the amount of sweat that it caught and kept me dry. #GameChanger@gozwift#GoZwiftRun@wahoofitnessofficial#TickrFit#Wahooligan ...
