Who didn’t grow up loving on the elephant show!!!!
The five of us had so much fun singing our hearts out...along with ever other Child, Parent and Grandparent in the building.
Thank you #sharonandbram ...
“We wanted to choose repertoire that would appeal to children, but also appeal to the family — so they wouldn't run screaming from the room.” Sharon Hampston, on recording as Sharon, Lois & Bram
@sharonandbram have been singing "Skinnamarinky dinky dink" for more than 40 years now, half of that time as Sharon, Lois & Bram. They say goodbye to 40 years of enduring fans with one last cross-Canada tour. Head over to cbc.ca/music to read the full article.
Thank you, Sharon and Bram, for being a positive presence in Canadian homes all these years!
OSHAWA! 📢 This is your opportunity to see Sharon, Bram and Friends on their 40th Anniversary Farewell Tour.
The show is on May 26th at the Regent Theatre at 2pm and again at 4:30pm! You don't want to miss this!
Sharon and Bram have carried on together since Lois Lillenstein stepped aside from live performing in 2000. This incarnation of one of North America’s most popular family acts ranges from a “sweet and simple” folksy duo performance, to a larger production featuring members of the versatile Skinnamarink Band.
A Sharon and Bram show is a sing-along concert for the entire family, featuring such well-loved favourites as “She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain", “Five Little Monkeys", “One Elephant", “Tingalayo", and, of course, “Skinnamarink". 🎶 “We love singing with our audiences; the sound of families singing together and the expressions of delight on the faces of parents and children as they share the music, bring us deep satisfaction”, say Sharon and Bram.
